The Payment Services Act licenses digital-payment-token services; MAS has issued a stablecoin regulatory framework and consumer-access rules.

Licensing & authorisation

Providers require a MAS licence under the Payment Services Act (or the DTSP regime).

AML & Travel Rule

MAS applies AML/CFT rules and a Travel Rule to digital-payment-token transfers.
