Overview
Nigeria's Securities and Exchange Commission issued rules on digital assets and launched an Accelerated Regulatory Incubation Programme (ARIP) to onboard exchanges, while the Central Bank of Nigeria lifted its earlier banking restriction and issued guidelines for banks servicing licensed VASPs. Nigeria exited the FATF grey list in 2025.
